FOR THE FOOD NERDS (2014)
THE CHALLENGE
Design a website or mobile app over 12 weeks for the UX Design evening course at General Assembly.
MY WORK
For my project, I chose to design an iOS app for New York Magazine's restaurant data. I interviewed users, reviewed competitors' apps, mapped the information architecture, and sketched wireframes with paper and then omnigraffle. Over the course of a month, I built a series of working prototypes, improving upon each version after user testing revealed new insights and user needs. I made the clickable mobile app prototypes using a combination of OmniGraffle and PopApp.
